WELCOME TO THE OUTDOORS CLUB'S WEBSITE
| Make life an adventure, and join us in our travels around the New York City area. Most of our outings are easily reached by public transportation. Some outings are easy, and others difficult. Be prepared to visit interesting places, and meet new people. |
The website is dedicated to Alan Kaye, who served as director of the Outdoors Club for twenty-seven years.
| Outdoors Club is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) volunteer run organization open to all adults 18 and over which engages in hiking, biking, wilderness trekking, canoeing, mountaineering, snowshoeing and skiing, nature and educational city walking tours of varying difficulty. Individual participants are expected to engage in activities suitable to their ability, experience and physical condition. Leaders may refuse to take anyone who lacks ability or is not properly dressed or equipped. The Outdoors Club is a member of the NY-NJ Trail Conference. |
